Wish you could skateboard like top pro's such as Rodney Mullen, Tony Hawk or Bam Margera?
If you're like me you will know how hard it is to learn to skateboard. Always bailing and ripping up your elbows and knees. After skateboarding for roughly 3 years I still couldn't land many tricks on a regular basis, so I decided to look online for some good tips and tricks.

"My elbow after a bail"

At one stage I had bailed and hurt my knee really badly, and still didnt give up, but then I bailed and landed on my knee 2 more times and actually snapped my kneecap in half, which put me out of skating and even walking properly for about 2 months. At that point I almost gave up skating altogether and gave my skateboard to a friend, but now I am glad that I didn't give up and got my skateboard back.

After trying many of the skateboarding tips I was given by friends and by watching video's on YouTube and other places, I was still injuring myself on a regular basis; that's when I found out about a NEW set of skateboarding tutorials called Secrets Of Skateboarding, and I am so glad I did.

The information in Secrets Of Skateboarding gave me the confidence to start attempting tricks again, because for a while I had decided that I would give up trying and save myself some pain. I could skate a bit on ramps and in half-pipes so I just stuck to that, but my idol is Rodney Mullen and I desperately wanted to learn some flatland tricks.

After reading the information for about an hour I decided to go and try some of the stuff I had learned and although I didn't land any amazing tricks right off the bat, I was able to ollie a little higher than I could before (over a house brick).

The instructions in the book are really easy to follow, and what I think helped me the most, was that there were troubleshooting tips for when things went wrong. These troubleshooting tips helped to make me understand exactly why I wasnt landing my tricks.

"My leg after a bail"

After about a week of skating about an hour or 2 a day, I landed my first proper kickflip, which felt so awesome it made me want to skate more and more.

After skating for about 3 weeks I could land kickflips almost every time, and I'm not just talking about kickflips on a carpet in the house, I'm talking rolling kickflips up and down curbs and over obstacles.

That was over 3 months ago now since I decided to learn to skateboard and read Secrets Of Skateboarding. I can now land kickflips and 360 backside pop-shoveit's 9 times out of 10 and can Ollie onto a bench and 50-50 grind 8 times out of 10.

To celebrate my success, I got myself a brand new skateboard to practise my new tricks on, and I have even built my own mini-skatepark in my yard with the help of a bonus book I got free about building your own ramps.

"My new skateboard (I cut the Wu-Tang logo out myself)"

I have been practicing to skateboard only about 3 days a week whenever the ground is dry (in Manchester UK that's not very often) and i'm not at work. I have got about 15 tricks dialled now which I can land whenever I want.

It's really good to be out skating and be able to pop an ollie over something or kickflip off curbs as I go along.

So check out the easy way to learn to skateboard with Secrets Of Skateboarding at www.skateboarding-trick-tips.com.
